Sunshine Closets are student-focused, compassion-driven spaces housed within schools to ensure that every student has access to the essentials they need to thrive. Created in memory of Rylee's caring spirit, these closets provide a safe, judgment-free zone where students can “shop” for free hygiene items, clothing, and school supplies.

Every Sunshine Closet reflects Rylee’s legacy of kindness, inclusion, and support for all. Through partnerships with community sponsors, local businesses, and student-led efforts, we’re turning schools into hubs of dignity and care.

Our first pilot location, the PSHS Sunshine Closet is maintained by the Princeton Senior High School Key Club and proudly sponsored by Mister Sparky. This location serves as a model for future expansion, thanks to strong student leadership and community support.

At Glenwood, the Sunshine Closet provides essential items to students of all ages. Maintained in collaboration with school staff and volunteers, it has become a critical resource for students in need.

This closet supports students through their transitional years, ensuring they have access to both supplies and emotional reassurance. Operated with help from Foundation volunteers and Mrs. Stevenson, the Princeton Middle School location continues to grow with support from local partners.
